Welcome to the IP4CMS user guide. IP4CMS is a community / estate / membership management platform. This guide explains how to use each part of the admin portal — what each area is for, how to perform the everyday tasks, and how the pieces fit together.

- What you can see depends on your licence and role. The portal only shows the modules enabled for your organisation, and you only see the actions your role permits. Menu names may also be customised for your deployment, so a module might appear under a different label than below.
- Two kinds of accounts. Staff/operator users sign in to this admin portal to run the organisation. Members (and customers, suppliers, partners) use their own member app — which you design and manage from here (see App Templates & App Editor).
- Find your way around. After signing in, the left-hand menu groups features by area. Use the guides below to learn each one.

Key concepts (plain-language)
- Modules are the features your organisation has switched on. Each module guide above is self-contained.
- Members vs Customers. Members are your community/residents; Customers are external buyers of products/services. They have separate records and separate portals.
- The member app. What residents see on their phones is configured here — the tiles, navigation, branding and banners — via App Templates & App Editor and Banners.
- Money is recorded as a ledger. Invoices, receipts and statements all flow through accounts — see Financials.
Technical & admin reference (separate site)
Architecture, tenant provisioning & isolation, licensing/RBAC, billing internals and the API/portal module catalogs now live on a separate Technical Reference site — they're for administrators and technical teams and aren't needed for everyday portal use. Open it from the 🛠 Technical Reference link in the sidebar.
